Replace Myself
Who am I developing? Salem Church believes in investing in and developing leaders. The hundreds of volunteers who make up this place are the real heroes. We partner with them to chase after people from our neighborhoods to the ends of the earth.
Laugh Often
When was the last time I laughed while doing my job? That’s a good question, we like to keep in front of us. As 1 Corinthians 12:26 says, if one of us suffers, we all suffer. If one of us is celebrating, we all celebrate. (Be on the look out for 5th Tuesday fun days).
Be Fit
What am I doing to lead myself spiritually, emotionally, physically and mentally? Being fit is more than just being in good physical shape. It is the whole package. At Salem Church we create opportunities that help us dive deeper from guest speakers to all staff reads.
Love the Bride More
Am I putting the Bride ahead of my personal needs and desires? Jesus said anyone who wants to follow him has to pick up their cross and die every day. When we walk in the door, our personal agendas go out the window. We put a premium on obedience to God, because that’s how we show we love him (John 14:15). The prerequisite for chasing Jesus is trading all of our own ambition and goals for His.
