Every gathering, conversation, and experience is designed to inspire and guide students in a personal journey with Jesus, equipping them for a lifelong, faith-filled relationship.

What To Expect at Salem Students

Relevant Teaching

We teach biblical and foundational truths for today’s most relevant topics. We equip our students with the necessary tools to be the young man or woman God is calling them to be.

Small Group Relationships

Life can be difficult, particularly as a teenager. Having friends and adult leaders is critical to understanding who we are in Christ. Our small groups provide space for students and leaders to talk and grow together.

Belonging

Wednesday nights are crafted to be a space where students feel they belong. Here, students are not just attending; they’re co-creating an environment with their peers, building a community that’s authentically theirs.

Partnering With Parents

We value partnering with parents to help families win at home! We understand that parents play a giant role in their teenager’s development, and we want to be a resource to you. Click here if you would like to receive weekly emails about what’s happening at Salem Students.

Gathering Information

Our heartbeat is simple: we want to see students and families GROW. Based on Colossians 2:6–7, we believe growth happens as we spend time with God, spend time with others, use our gifts, and share our story. Everything we do is designed to help students take their Next Step with Jesus. The win for us this year is to see every student know God more deeply and make a difference in the spaces He has called us into. This will result in real life change for every student. Together, let’s lean in, show up, and GROW strong roots that last a lifetime.

Engage & Serve. Students are encouraged to serve one hour and attend service the other. This is built around two goals:

Helping students practice consistent engagement in different spaces.
Giving students the opportunity to learn and grow most while serving.

Students looking for a place to serve can connect at the Student Wall in the main lobby or at Serve Central. For those looking for a place to sit and belong, we’ve created a designated section in service for students to sit together.
