Salem Church wants to help our community by providing a safe environment for students to complete online schooling.  On Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning September 15, parents can drop off their children (K-6th grade)  from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and volunteers will help them with their school work.
In order to provide your child with a safe environment all of our volunteers  will be background checked, and we will provide a socially distant, masked environment. Salem's desire is to help alleviate some of the stress families have right now during this time.
You must register your child weekly by Wednesday for the upcoming week.

You must register your child weekly by Wednesday for the upcoming week.

  • You can arrive starting at 9 a.m. on the days you are registered. We’ll be open Tuesday, and Thursday.
  • Temps will be taken as your child enters. No one who has a temperature over 100 can stay.
  • You must sign a waiver stating that your kids haven’t been sick or in contact with anyone who has COVID-19.
  • Children will use hand sanitizer as they enter.
  • Everyone will be required to wear a mask during their time on campus.
  • Your child should bring ALL WORK and a computer (preferably charged and have a charger).
  • Volunteers will be available to help kids with connectivity, general questions and navigating their work. Our volunteers may not all be tutors, but they will be “helpers” as your kids do their work. We are aiming to have 3-4 students per volunteer.
  • Children should bring a water bottle, non-refrigerated snacks, and a lunch for the day.
  • Kids must be picked up by 3:30 p.m. It can be sooner, but not later. If your child is carpooling, they must have a note signed by a parent stating who is picking them up.
