Song Selection Process
Selecting songs for Sunday is a careful process guided by four key questions. Each song is chosen with the intention to not only sound beautiful but to carry theological depth and spiritual significance. This approach ensures that worship at Salem remains rooted in Scripture, fosters spiritual growth, and creates space for God's presence to be experienced.
Is it God-honoring?
Every song should ultimately bring glory to God, focusing on His character, works, and grace.
Does it teach Biblical truth?
Songs serve as a form of teaching and should align with the truth of Scripture and theology of the Church of God.
Does it edify the body?
Worship should build up the church, encouraging and strengthening the faith of all who participate.
