Emotionally Healthy Discipleship
Do you avoid healthy conflict in the name of keeping the peace? Do you feel like you need to ignore or suppress your emotions? Do you ever use your service for God as an excuse to hide or run from God? Do you live your life without any real structure or limits?
Unfortunately, these habits are very common today among church-goers and Christians-- even here at Salem Church. While they may seem innocent enough, or even like the right thing to do sometimes, they're not. These habits are actually keeping us from experiencing real life change and spiritual maturity in Jesus! We're ready to change that together – We want to become emotionally healthy, so we can become spiritually healthy.
What is EHD?
EHD or Emotionally Healthy Discipleship is a single discipleship strategy comprised of two parts.
Part One: Emotionally Healthy Spirituality (EHS)
CICK HERE to see why Spiritual Maturity and Emotional Maturity go together
Part Two: Emotionally Healthy Relationships (EHR)
CLICK HERE to see an example of the practical tools taught in EHR
Both parts are discipleship training that require effort but are immensely rewarding. While it’s recommended to start with Part One, it’s not mandatory. However, to fully engage with the content and experience the transformation it offers, active participation and consistent attendance are essential. If you anticipate missing more than two sessions, it may be best to consider joining a future session.
Go below the surface and find real change!
Take part in the freedom that comes when we do the hard work of discipleship and slow down to experience deep life change with Christ!
