How do I find a Life Group that suits my interests and schedule?

To find a Life Group, use our Group Finder tool. Here you will find a list of available groups and their meeting times. Alternatively, you can find paper sign ups in the Church Office or in the Next Center Sunday morning. You can also always reach us at info@salemchurch.org.

Can I join a Life Group if I am new to the Salem or a new to faith?

Absolutely! Life Groups are open to everyone, including newcomers and those exploring their faith. Joining a Life Group can be an excellent way to connect with others, grow spiritually, and deepen your understanding of the church community.

Are there any expectations or commitments for members of a Life Group?

While expectations may vary between different Life Groups, generally, participants are encouraged to attend meetings regularly, actively participate in discussions, and respect the confidentiality of shared information. Some groups may also engage in community outreach or service activities as part of their commitment to serving the community.

When do Life Groups take place and how long is the commitment?

Life Groups happen on a semester basis. Most groups meet for approx. 12 weeks in the fall and 16 weeks in the winter/spring. Groups often take a break in June, July, and August as well as the month of December. Each participant has an opportunity to find a new group at any time, Life Groups are not a life sentence.
